Truck route for Town of Centreville
The truck route for The Town of Centreville is coming into town at the intersection of Hwy 24 and Hwy 48, trucks can travel down Howard Street to the four-way stop at the intersection of Howard Street and Laurel Street. Turn left onto Laurel Street for one block. Turn right onto Main Street, then turn left at the intersection of Main Street and Cosby Street going straight to Hwy 24. Trucks are not allowed on any other streets. This route will be strictly enforced.
Effective Friday, February 28, 2020, the Centreville Police Department will move from its current location to the Town Hall at 1 Municipal Drive, Centreville, MS 39631. In addition, Municipal Court will be held in the Town's Board Room beginning March 2, 2020, at 1 Municipal Drive, Centreville, MS 39631.
A Utility DropBox will be located inside the Police Department for the citizens' convenience. Payments can be placed in the secure box and will be processed the following morning.
This relocation will consolidate all of the Town of Centreville's administrative operations. This co-location will also reduce operational redundancies, improve space utilization, lower town operating costs, increase efficiencies, and contribute to a new collaborative working environment.
